Kirkstall Valley Explorer Tots

Explorer Tots is our “Stay and Play” session that runs three mornings a week. It is for parents and carers to attend with their children. Our philosophy for the session is all about learning through play with children being free to explore a range of sensory, craft, mark-making and messy activities and more! They run on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings in term time at our community hub with some sessions moving to the farm between April and October. Kirkstall Valley Explorers

In the Easter, Summer and Christmas school holidays we run our Kirkstall Valley Explorers- a playscheme on our farm (indoors at the hub for Christmas) pitched at primary school aged children. We aim to get children playing outdoors and enjoying the freedom of our beautiful farm. There is always a range of activities to suit different interests, including opportunities to learn more about the veg being grown on the farm, get involved in farming tasks and even cook some of the tasty veg up for lunch!
